1. What these terms cover

By using given.systems you’re agreeing to what’s on this page. If you don’t, that’s completely fine — please don’t use the site. “Given,” “we,” and “us” mean Given Systems LLC, a Kentucky limited liability company.

Client work is separate. Nothing on this website creates a contract to build anything. If you hire us, the signed proposal and services agreement define the scope, price, timeline, ownership, and warranty — and they control over this page in every respect.

2. The demos are illustrations, not promises

The demo floor exists so you can see the kind of thing we build instead of reading adjectives about it. Every demo is a sample containing invented data, running in your own browser.

• Demos are for illustration. They are not the software you would receive, and they don’t define what any particular build will include.
• Numbers, estimates, and results shown in a demo are made up. Don’t rely on them for any real decision.
• What we’d actually build for you gets written down in your quote.

3. Prices on this site are starting points

Our published bands — Quick Fix from $350, Full Build from $1,200, System Build from $3,500 — are honest starting-at figures, and the ranges shown are typical, not guaranteed. They are not an offer, a bid, or a quote. A real price comes from a real conversation and arrives in writing. We publish the bands so nobody has to be afraid to ask.

4. Information here is general

Everything on this site is provided for general information. It isn’t legal, financial, tax, or professional advice, and it isn’t a recommendation to use any particular product or service. Please use your own judgment, and get proper advice for decisions that matter.

5. Our content

The text, design, code, logo, and mark on this site belong to Given Systems LLC. You’re welcome to read it, quote a reasonable amount with attribution, and share links. Please don’t copy the site wholesale, or use our name, mark, or brand in a way that suggests we made, endorsed, or are affiliated with something we aren’t.

Work we deliver to a client is a different matter entirely — that becomes theirs, outright, on payment. That’s the whole point of the business.

6. Links to other places

Where we link somewhere else, we don’t control that site and aren’t responsible for its content or its privacy practices.

7. The site is provided as-is

We work to keep given.systems accurate and available, but we don’t guarantee it’s error-free, uninterrupted, or current at every moment. The site is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Kentucky law, Given Systems LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of this website — including lost profits or lost business opportunity. Our total liability relating to your use of this website is limited to one hundred dollars ($100).

This section is about the website. Liability for work we’re actually hired to do is addressed in the services agreement, where it’s capped at the fees paid for that project.

9. Privacy

How we handle information is set out in our Privacy Policy. The short version: this site collects nothing about you.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to this website belongs in the state or federal courts located in Kentucky.

11. Changes

We may update these terms; the current version always lives on this page with its date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
