Privacy Policy
Short version: this website doesn’t track you. No cookies, no analytics, no advertising pixels, no contact form quietly collecting your details. If we ever know something about you, it’s because you texted or emailed us on purpose.

1. Who we are
Given Systems LLC (“Given,” “we,” “us”) is a single-member Kentucky limited liability company based in Wilmore, Kentucky. We build custom software for small businesses, nonprofits, and churches. You can reach us any time at hello@given.systems or (740) 953-8770.
This policy explains what happens to information when you visit given.systems, when you get in touch, and when you become a client.
2. What this website collects: nothing
We mean that plainly. given.systems has no cookies, no analytics, no tracking scripts, no advertising pixels, and no contact forms. We do not build a profile of you, we do not know who you are, and we have nothing to sell to anyone because we never collected it.
Two ordinary technical notes, for completeness:
- Our host keeps standard server logs. The site is served by Cloudflare, which — like every web host on earth — processes routine request data such as IP addresses in order to deliver pages and block attacks. We do not use that data to identify visitors, and we do not combine it with anything else.
- Your browser does browser things. Fonts and page files load from our own domain. Nothing is fetched from third-party trackers.
3. The live demos run entirely on your own device
Everything on our demo floor is a working sample filled with made-up data. It runs in your browser and nowhere else. Nothing you type into a demo is transmitted, stored, or seen by us — close the tab and it’s gone. Please still don’t type anything genuinely sensitive into a demo, for the same reason you wouldn’t type it into a calculator you found on the internet.
4. When you contact us
If you text, call, or email us, we have whatever you chose to send — your name, your number or address, and what you told us about your project. We use it to reply to you and to do the work you’re asking about. That’s all. We don’t add you to a mailing list, we don’t sell or rent contact information to anyone, and we don’t share it with third parties except where it’s genuinely needed to do a job you’ve hired us for (and then only what’s needed).
5. If you’re a client
Client work is governed by your signed proposal and services agreement, which control if anything here conflicts with them. In summary:
- We access only what the job requires. Your data and credentials are handled with care, kept no longer than the project and its 14-day fix window need, and never used to train anyone’s AI model.
- Your build page. During a project you get a private page on given.systems showing progress, documents, and invoices, reachable by private link. If you send us a note or a file through it, that comes to us and is treated as confidential. The page shows project status — never your confidential business data.
- Accounts we create are yours. Domains, hosting, email, and any third-party services set up during a build are created in your name and under your ownership. We don’t keep a key to your business.
- If your build includes AI. Some tools we build have AI inside them, when that’s what you asked for. In those builds the AI service runs on your own account and your own key — you control it, you can switch it off, and whatever you send through it is governed by that provider’s terms, not ours. We’ll tell you exactly which provider before we build it.
6. Payments
Invoices are handled through Stripe. We never see, handle, or store your card number — Stripe processes payment details directly under its own privacy policy. We see only what any business sees: that an invoice was paid.
7. How long we keep things
We keep project records, correspondence, and the paperwork for work we’ve done as long as we reasonably need them for business and tax purposes. Credentials and access to your systems are removed at handoff. If you’d like something deleted, ask us — if there’s no legal or accounting reason to keep it, we’ll delete it.
8. Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@given.systems and a real person — Gabe — will answer. There’s no form and no ticket number.
9. Children
This site and our services are meant for businesses and organizations, and are not directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version goes up on this page with a new date at the top. Material changes affecting existing clients get told to those clients directly, not buried here.
